On Wednesday afternoon, the SAGBC’s Student Nutrition Access Program (SNAP) delivered over 190 food hampers to students in the first hamper delivery of 2021.
The SNAP team launched its food hamper delivery service in November 2020 as part of its mission to support GBC students’ nutrition, health and wellness needs during the unprecedented challenges of COVID-19.
As COVID-19 cases rise in Toronto, SNAP’s delivery program is one of the SA’s many new innovative and adaptive initiatives to make sure GBC students are offered the support they need in a safe and socially distanced manner.
SNAP will be delivering food hampers to students in need throughout the Winter 2021 semester. GBC students are welcome to apply for a food hamper by completing SNAP’s online registration form.
