George Brown College is delighted to announce that the 300 Adelaide Building (SJB) will reopen on Monday, Sept. 11, 2023.
This news comes just days after the college had to announce that the building would be closed to students during the first week of classes, due to an unforeseen flooding event.
“We understand that this has been a challenging time for everyone, and we want to express our heartfelt gratitude to all who have worked tirelessly to make the reopening possible,” said Leslie Quinlan in a message.
Additional information for students regarding the reopening includes:
- Safety First:Â While the building is reopening, safety remains our top priority. Please be mindful of any temporary safety measures or closures that may still be in place as we continue to assess and repair the affected areas.
- Flexibility and Patience:Â We may still encounter some inconveniences and disruptions as we complete the recovery process. Your patience and understanding during this time are greatly appreciated.
- Reporting Issues:Â If you come across any issues or concerns related to the campus facilities, please report them promptly to our facilities management team using the QR codes on posters across the campus. Your feedback will help us address any remaining challenges.
