King’s Lounge and Student Association services reopen at main St. James building this fall.
Following a pandemic which kept us away from campus, the fire during the summer of 2021 – which caused the closure of 200 King – was a truly devastating blow for the students we serve. As we returned to campus, we regretted not being able to open all our spaces sooner, finding ways to ensure our services were accessible to all.
Now, with the renovations completed and the campus set to reopen, we at the Student Association of George Brown College (SAGBC) are pleased join the college in welcoming students back to 200 King St. E.
Starting Aug. 28, SAGBC spaces will be open again for students to use this includes our King’s Lounge space. Once the fall semester kicks off, the Kings Lounge is where students can take a break, enjoy time with friends and get something to eat from one of our many vendors.
In addition to the reopening of the Lounge, all services will have spaces open to provide access to students. Individual hours of operation for each service at the SJ campus, can be found by visiting their pages.
Stay tuned for exciting events such as Paint Night, Street Festival, Karaoke, AGM, and more, all hosted at 200 King.
