The SAGBC Board of Directors announced the SA is refunding/crediting full-time students $26.56 from the Fall 2020 semester’s SA fees.
After its September 21 board meeting, the SAGBC Board of Directors sent a memo to GBC’s Chief Financial Officer Micheal Herrera notifying the college of the news.
“The Board of Directors have decided cohesively to refund/credit to full-time students enrolled in the Fall semester $26.56 to those students who have paid the Student Association Fee,” said the SA’s Director of Operations Shemar Jordan in the memo.
The refund/credit pertains to Fall Safewalk program and Fall Capital amounts. The Student Association will continue supporting the Safewalk program. The SA has also placed capital expenditures on hold for the Fall semester.
Continuing Education students will be refunded/credit 50% of their Campus Service fee, which amounts to $3.84.
