Black Canada: Racism, Resistance & Resilience at the Intersections Workshop
This workshop confronts anti-Black racism and representations of Blackness in a Canadian cultural context. Participants use multimedia resources, exercises and discussion to explore strategies for addressing interpersonal, internalized and institutional racism. Though historical context provides a framework, the workshop focuses on the present-day realities of Blackness in Canada as Black forms of knowing and being are explored through a community-based and artistic lens.
