Community Garden

Ever Thought of Growing Your Own Food?

SNAP Spadina Community Garden

Do You Want to Meet Fun and Exciting People?

Have a Green Thumb?

The Community Garden is a summer initiative designed to provide students with a communal and interactive space to grow their own produce, engage with the Toronto community, and learn valuable skills. Students who participate will experience nurturing the garden throughout the growing season, from planting to harvesting. Through this program, participants will have the opportunity to not only cultivate fresh vegetables and herbs, but also contribute to the SNAP Pantry program, ensuring access to nutritious food for fellow students.
Why participate in the Community Garden program?
  • Learn how to grow your own vegetables and herbs
  • Network and build connections with other students
  • Engage with the local Toronto community
  • Learn new skills
  • Experience mindfulness by connecting with nature
  • Make meaningful impact on community by providing fresh produce to SNAP (Student Nutrition Access Program) pantry program
