Join us at our Annual General Meeting, Oct. 21, 2026.
As members of the SAGB, you’re entitled to share your voice and opinions with the student elected Board of Directors. The AGM is your chance to understand our financial position, and learn about our annual report.
By taking part in the AGM, you’ll not only be able to shape the future for students, you can join us for a free lunch and have a chance at winning some fantastic prizes.

The 2026 Annual General Meeting will be held from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. on Oct. 21. More information about location, keynote speaker, etc., will become available prior to the meeting.
Students who want to attend, but have a class conflict, can do so via the Academic Amnesty Form which will be provided to all who attend. Alternatively, proxy your vote to a friend.
Academic Amnesty Form
Those who have a scheduled class/assessment during this time are still able to attend the meeting thanks to the Amnesty certificate which will be available to those who attend the Annual General Meeting on Oct. 21, 2026. Amnesty is approved by George Brown, so students can attend the SA’s meeting.
Students will receive a certificate, signed by the Director of Education & Equity, which will be provided to students who miss a class to attend the 2026 Annual General Meeting, following the conclusion of the meeting.
