The board of directors of any organization is its governing mind and is directly responsible for ensuring the organization is operated in accordance with the law.

The board of directors has the ultimate jurisdiction over the affairs of the Student Association and its various components. It should be obvious for a student association to fulfill its mandate, its operating mind must be that of students.

This, in turn, is precisely why the Student Association has a board of directors whose membership is comprised of elected students. The board of directors is composed of five executives, four campus directors, seven educational centre representatives and five constituency representatives.

Don’t be shy! A visit to a board meeting for the first time may seem intimidating. Just remember, board members are your fellow students. They are there to answer your questions and are accountable to you.
